Hello! Welcome to "Breads in Daily Life"
I feel it something different to make a bread from manufacturing other things. I visited and enjoyed artisan work in several bakeries, a bakery in my home town, a bakery using natural leaven for fermentation in a local town, a bakery near a skyscraper that is appeared through cold air in an autumn morning at past 5 o'clock and the steeple shines by the sunset on the way to go back home, making breads for restaurants in this big city.
Design of bread is based on heart and mind of every baker. It is really a fun to make a bread. I think the best way to make a bread is keeping heart "in grace". I mean a harmony in your mind, which can be translated into outward harmony. Everyone feels solitude like an island. But these islands are in a sea. The sea may be hometown, friend, family, faith and belief. I expect "Bread in Daily Life" will be the sea.
What DESIGN is? I think DESIGN build up good relationship in people, in things and between people and things. That is not only to be a good relation, but to change and coevolve each other while coexisting together. I know it hard to make sense from other years. When you keep your heart "in grace", it is possible to feel the relationship. When we are making and thinking bread, we can feel the relationship concretely. That is the relation of "Bread and Design".
